🚀 Beginner's Guide
This guide takes you from creating a character to your first reset. Rates are high (x1500), so the first levels go by quickly — what matters is understanding how progression works.
Step 1. Create a character
Dark Knight, Dark Wizard and Fairy Elf are available from the start. Magic Gladiator unlocks once a character on the account reaches level 180, and Dark Lord at level 220. VIP accounts get both classes right away.
Not sure who to pick? Dark Wizard and Fairy Elf level more easily solo thanks to area skills, while Dark Knight is stronger in melee and PvP.
Step 2. Get a buff and turn on the helper
- Elf Soldier stands in the towns and gives a free attack and defense buff. The buff is available up to level 400 and up to 10 resets.
- Mu Helper works from level 10. It is a built-in assistant that attacks monsters, picks up items and drinks potions for you. Setup is covered in Official Mu Helper.
Step 3. Spend stat points with commands
Each level gives 5 points (7 for Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord). Instead of clicking one point at a time, use the commands /addstr, /addagi, /addvit, /addene, plus /addcmd for Dark Lord. For example, /addene 500 adds 500 points to energy. The full list is in Game Commands.
Step 4. Where to level
A rough guide to maps, from weak monsters to strong ones:
| Level | Where to go |
|---|---|
| 1–20 | Lorencia or Noria |
| 20–60 | Devias, the first floors of Dungeon |
| 60–120 | Lost Tower, Atlans |
| 120–220 | Tarkan, Icarus |
| 220–330 | Aida, Kanturu |
| 330–400 | Karutan, Raklion, Swamp of Calmness |
A party earns more experience: with 5 players the group gets 150% experience. The Search Party window helps you find a group.
Step 5. Do the quests
The server has a chain of monster-hunting quests. They reward boxes, stat points and Zen. The full list of quests and rewards is in Quest System.
Step 6. Join the events
Blood Castle, Devil Square and Chaos Castle run every day on a schedule, and the first tiers accept characters from level 15. Entry requirements are in the guides of the "Events" section, and the table in Event Levels shows which tier fits your character.
Step 7. Make a reset
At level 400 a character can reset: the level goes back to 1, and you get extra stat points in return. The first reset costs 2 million Zen, and each next one costs 2 million Zen more. You can make 100 resets in total, and after that the grand reset opens up. Details are in Reset System and Grand Reset System.
Tip
Don't spend Jewel of Bless and Jewel of Soul on starter gear — you will replace it after a few resets. Save your jewels in the Item Bank, where they take no inventory space.
